Under New Ownership
David and Gemma Woods are pleased to announce and introduce themselves as the new owners of Chatton Trout Fishery
Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Cheviot Hills and close to the rural village of Chatton in north Northumberland, Chatton Trout Fishery offers quality trout fly fishing to anglers of all levels of expertise.
The fishery attracts praise from anglers both locally and across the UK, enjoying an ever increasing reputation. Our lodge is always staffed and a friendly warm welcome is assured!
Featuring three trout fly fishing lakes each around three acres in size, including a recently developed bait lake, the lakes are regularly stocked with top quality rainbow, blue, tiger and brown trout.
Onsite we have a comfortable fishing lodge with accessible toilets. Complimentary tea and coffee are provided, as well a selection of snacks, cold drinks, flies and terminal tackle available for sale.
We are open 7 days a week from 08.30 with seasonal closing times. On occasion some or all of the lakes may be closed for hosting major competitions, advanced notice of which will be posted on our Events page.
Booking is not necessary for groups of less than 10, with all ticket types payable on the day either by cash or card. No rod licence is required for Chatton Trout Fishery.
Come and stay for a fishing break or a family holiday. We have an onsite caravan park with stunning views over the lakes to the Cheviot Hills in the background – an ideal location for exploring the coast, with Bamburgh, Beadnell and Seahouses a short drive away.
