We welcomed the Codgers back to Chatton Trout Fishery earlier this week for their Christmas get together. This was highest turn-out we have seen from the Codgers with 29 anglers tucking into a spot of lunch that included home-made soup, turkey with stuffing and cranberry rolls, and then finished off with mince pies and shortbread.
The anglers were all in fine spirit – nothing to do with their sloe gin and honey rum of course – with some good craic and a quite a few fish being caught too. A few anglers reached or got close to double figures. One or two anglers had an extended stayed in the lodge after lunch.
Great to see the Codgers again and thanks to Stewart Younger for arranging the get together.
